The gardens at The Old Mill were landscaped in the 1950s when a local artist called Betty Chadburn first converted the buildings into a private house.

Covering approximately 1 acre, a quarter of which is the pond, there is a private seating area overlooking the water and feeding the 100s of fish from the jetty is a favourite pastime.

All , towels, soap, etc. are included. There are no extra charges for or electricity and is also free.

We also include a for each new guest on arrival which is enough for a Continental breakfast for a couple of days.
This comprises milk, fruit juice, tea, coffee, sugar, a selection of cereals, croissants, crisps, biscuits, bread, marmalade, jams and fruit.
There are cooking basics eg oil, spices, herbs, pepper, salt, etc. so you don't have to bring everything with you.

If self-catering and you don't have time to shop first, we can get what you need by arrangement.

We are very and can accommodate most requests. If, for example you would
like some or maybe flowers for when you arrive, we can sort it for you.
